Add an art practice to your Zen program. Empty Bowl offers a Japanese-type calligraphy class to anyone in the local Zen community that is interested. Going forward, classes will be scheduled for the 4th Saturday of the month from 8:00-9:30am in the Zendo. Classes will always be announced in an eblast.  Email Ron Manning or call (973) 997-0101. Supplies can be provided for first timer “curiosity seekers”.  Previous experience or knowledge of Chinese characters is not necessary.  We have had about a dozen classes over the last few years, and program veterans have made real progress. Instruction is individualized. Suggested contribution is $10.
